The 10 yard mark (9.15m)

You will see referees step out the 10 yard mark for defensive walls when a free kick is being taken.

The number of "steps" the referee takes can be different for each ref based on how big their own "step" is.

To measure the number of steps to take to measure out the 10 yards, you can count your steps from the top of the D (penalty ark), to the penalty spot as this is a 10 yard measurement.

For me it's 10 steps. How many steps is it for you?
