To assess and grade our players, we will be holding training assessments on the following days and times. Please arrive 15 minutes before your session to allow enough time for registration.

Monday 24th October and Monday 31st October

6:30pm – 7:15pm U9 Boys (Born 2014)
7:30pm-8:15pm U13 Boys (Born 2010)

Tuesday 25th October and Tuesday 1st November
5:30pm – 6:15pm U8-U9 Girls (Born 2014 + 2015)
6:30pm – 7:15pm U10-U11 Girls (Born 2012 + 2013)
7:30pm-8:15pm U12-U13 Girls (Born 2010 + 2011)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Do I need to attend a training assessment to play for the Redbacks next season?
You will need to attend at least one training assessment if you meet one of the following
criteria:
• You are a new or existing player who would like a Kangaroo’s/A’s position
• You are a new or existing player and would like a Wallabies/B’s position

If you don’t meet the above criteria but you would like to continue to play at the Redbacks at your current level, you don’t need to attend a training assessment if you don’t want to. You will have a place to play at our club, which can be confirmed once the player deposit is paid.

2. Do I need to attend both Training Assessment sessions?
You are welcome to attend both assessments, but it is fine if you can only attend one.

3. How are teams selected?
After the training assessments, our technical team will allocate players to teams based on
the outcome of the training assessments, and their coach’s and technical team feedback
from the 2022 season.

4. Why do I need to pay a deposit now?
Non-refundable deposits are commonly requested to enable teams to be finalised ahead of
pre-season.
